Review: Conair Infiniti Pro Spin Air Brush
I've seen spin castor hair dryers on TV and haven't tried them considering the rotating activeness terrifies me. I have visions of my hair spinning into a tangle of mayhem that will require me to actually cut the brush out of my hair. Merely the other twenty-four hour period Jody bought an air brush (in this case Revlon'south Hot Air Brush that is a similar concept only doesn't spin) and raved about it. She promised she'd do a review this calendar week. They didn't happen to have the one she'd bought at Target, so I got the Conair Spin Brush, which is more expensive, but rotates every bit you dry.
I have slightly damaged hair that is a mix of fine and thick. A hair dresser told me I have fine hair, but a lot of information technology. I'1000 non sure what that means, simply it translates into me being also freaking tired to style it. It gets frizzy easily, and because information technology has this fine/thick issue, it is hard to command. Inevitably while trying to dry my hair straight with a barrel brush in i mitt and a pilus dryer in the other, my arms become tired and I just quit while information technology is half damp, and we all know how that ends. But this hair tool does both. At once! It retails for almost $58. Not cheap, but so far I call back information technology'south worth it. So hither's my curt review of the Conair Spin Brush.
Here's what I like:
- There are three settings, cool, depression and loftier. I stuck with the high setting primarily because I am impatient and wanted to see how fast I could dry it. The loftier setting wasn't overkill, so I'll probably stick with that. If you have very fine hair, I'd recommend starting out with the depression setting.
- You tin can reverse the direction of the spin, so if you want to scroll your pilus under, you can do that. If y'all desire a flip at the bottom or possibly at the end of your bangs or dorsum of your hair you lot simply flip the direction switch.
- With the Infiniti Pro Spin Air Brush, I but need i hair tool. This is key for me. I did no touch ups with a straightener or a hair castor afterwards. I used a little bit of product (in this case Fructis Sleek & Polish earlier and after to smoothen out the flyaways.) But in full general it was quite smooth fifty-fifty without the product.
- My makeup did non melt off. Yous know how when you use a blowdryer and a brush, information technology's somewhat hard to manage the management of the blow dryer air. And you lot cease upwardly sometimes sort of heating up your face in the process. I like to practise my makeup first. I know it'due south not a dandy order to do things, simply I but do it that way. Hair is always concluding. And I hate how blow drying my hair manages to brand my face sweat likewise.
What I didn't like
- On the absurd setting the brush doesn't rotate either style. I gauge it'southward to give yous hair a shot of cool air to set your hair. But because I'd been using it a few minutes before switching to cool, the cool was more than like warm, so not that effective. I too hoped it would still rotate, and it doesn't on that setting for some reason.
I didn't take a earlier picture because it would exist me with wet pilus, but here's an after picture. First to stop, 8 minutes. I'd recommend that you start with hair that is clammy, not soaking wet, information technology goes faster and is easier to manage. And so after your shower, dry out as well every bit you can and busy yourself with other stuff until it has had a few minutes to air dry first.
